You receive error code 1292 when you install Windows Live OneCare
When you try to install Windows Live OneCare, you may receive installation error code 1292. Error code 1292 can be caused by third-party security software or by an incomplete installation of a required update. To resolve the problem, first try closing and reopening Microsoft Internet Explorer and then installing Windows Live OneCare again. If that doesn't resolve the problem, remove all third-party security programs from your computer. If the problem persists, reinstall the update for Windows Live OneCare.
 Close and reopen Internet Explorer
 Uninstall all third-party security programs
 Reinstall the required update
