How do I keep from being notified about Backup?
Windows Live OneCare Tune-up automatically scans your computer for new or changed files. If you have files that need backing up and you do not have automatic backup enabled, your status changes to yellow and you receive an Action to Take. and notifies you if you have any files that need to be backed up. If you do not have a valid backup device or do not want to be notified, you can turn off these backup notifications using the following procedure.
To turn off backup notifications:
On the left side of the Windows Live OneCare display, click View or change settings.
- Click the Backup tab.
- Clear the Remind me when my files need backing up check box.
- Click OK.
To open Windows Live OneCare, double-click the icon in the lower right notification area of your Windows taskbar.
