Windows Live OneCare Help Center
What are the "Actions to Take"?
Whenever possible, Windows Live OneCare automatically performs actions to help protect your computer. When this is not possible, or when there is an action that you need to perform yourself, Windows Live OneCare displays an Action to Take at the top of the Windows Live OneCare main page. Each Action to Take contains a description of the problem or issue, and a button or link that you must click to perform the action or to learn more about what you should do.
Actions to Take come in three colors: red, yellow, and white. If you have a red Action to Take, the Windows Live OneCare icon in your taskbar turns red. If you have a yellow Action to Take (and no red ones), the icon turns yellow. To remove the item (and return your color status to green), you should perform the recommended action.
