Add Windows Live OneCare Beta to another computer

The new Multi-PC management feature within Windows Live OneCare Beta allows you to form a OneCare Circle of Protection to monitor, manage and keep your home wireless network safe. Proactive guidance for common tasks such as sharing printers and efficiently backing up important files to a single location keep your PCs up-to-date and optimized.

If you have an active Windows Live OneCare Beta subscription, you can add another computer (up to three total) to your existing subscription. Just follow these easy steps:
  1. Using the computer you wish to install Windows Live OneCare Beta on, click the link below to begin installation.

  2. When the installation is complete, open Windows Live OneCare Beta and click the Activate button.
  3. Sign in with the same Windows Live ID you used when you first installed Windows Live OneCare Beta and then follow the directions.


Reinstall Windows Live OneCare Beta on your computer

If you have an active Windows Live OneCare Beta subscription, you can reinstall OneCare on your computer using your existing subscription. Just follow these easy steps:
  1. Sign in to Windows Live OneCare Beta with the same Windows Live ID you used when you first installed OneCare.
  2. On the computer where you want to reinstall Windows Live OneCare Beta, go to the OneCare installation Web site.
  3. Click Run.
  4. Click Run.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows Live OneCare Beta.
Notes

  • If reinstalling Windows Live OneCare Beta fails, please download and run the OneCare cleanup tool. After running the cleanup tool, reboot and attempt to reinstall OneCare again.
  • If you reinstall Windows Live OneCare Beta, you don't have to enter your credit card information again. You only need to sign in using your Windows Live ID. Your information is transferred when you reinstall OneCare.
  • If you have already completed installation and activation for your first PC, you can get your Windows Live ID by following these steps:
    1. Open OneCare.
    2. Click Help.
    3. Click About Windows Live OneCare Beta.
    4. The email address displayed after Service ID is your Windows Live ID.
  • If you have any difficulty with finding your Windows Live ID, please contact Windows Live OneCare Beta Customer Support with your Credit Card or Product Key ready.
