What is the Windows Live Onecare managed beta program?
Windows Live OneCare is no longer in beta (a pre-release version of a product), but we've created a managed beta program to test improvements and new features before
they're released as updates to OneCare subscribers.
How you can take part in the managed beta program
Participants in the managed beta receive preliminary trial versions of features that are still in development, and they take a more active role in testing and reviewing
the product. We invite you to join the managed beta and try out these new updates to OneCare. Take them for a test drive! Tell us what you like and don't like. Your
feedback will help us continually improve Windows Live OneCare. Please visit beta.microsoft.com to fill out the Windows Live OneCare
beta nomination form. You'll need Microsoft® Passport Network credentials (e-mail
address and password) in order to use this Web site.
When you sign in to beta.microsoft.com, you'll be asked to enter a Guest ID. Type in OneCare (case sensitive) to access
the Windows Live OneCare beta nomination form.
Please note that the number of nominations we receive for this beta prevents us from responding to everyone individually. If you're selected as a beta participant,
you'll receive an e-mail from us with further information and next steps.
Participation in the Windows Live OneCare managed beta program is open to U.S. residents only.
Resources for current managed beta program participants
We provide several options for getting help and providing feedback. Beta.microsoft.com provides information on how to send us feedback and file bug reports. To get technical support, go to the Windows Live OneCare Help Center.
